LCD Screen Replacement

Hello all,


I am attempting to locate some reference material for cross-compatible LCD screens for my Sony XBR65X900E that... well... I cracked the panel of. What I'm specifically looking for is whether or not previous (older) models of the X900 series of Sony Televisions are forwards compatible with my X900E hardware/mounting (boards, etc.). Maybe even other manufacturers like Samsung or LG. What I'm trying to do is broaden my "net" (that is, if other model LCD screens themselves are use-able) so that I can cast a larger one when looking for a replacement screen for my broken TV. I do know how to swap out these parts and have a general working knowledge of electronics repair on a "weekend warrior" basis. I just don't know how to get a hold of any reference material.

I went to several of Sony's "affiliated" websites and all I get in my responses are these kind of non-sequitur off-topic responses. Not directly denying access, but some kind of obfuscation... maybe they don't like "Right to Repair"? I don't know.

So help me, if one can. Or even wants to.
