So, I've just finished my latest build and I've stalled on deciding what software to install, from the stuff that is available with the hardware.

For instance, I've got a NZXT H440 case and a Kraken Watercooler, so i've installed NZXT CAM to monitor fans and temps and of course, change the colours on the case.

I've got a Aorus Elite motherboard, when I go to the gigabyte site there is a TONNE of software available but I have no clue if any of it is worth my time and I'm not even sure which software is the one used to change the motherboard RGB.

So while this is partly a question as to what you guys recommend I install its also more of a general question as to how do you decide in general what to use and what not to, as each manufacturer seems to have their own software packages.

In the past I just didn't ever bother with any of it but I wonder if sometimes I was missing out on features that could only be used with the software?

Thoughts?

If you accidentally install bloat along the way, uninstall it afterward. Most bloatware is not that difficult to remove.

There is soooo  much though, especially for the Gigabyte Board. Although I guess I may have to do just that!
