GPU as capture card?

If i have a system with a GTX 1060 3GB GPU, but im gaming on a separate system(xbox one x) can i use the gpu as a capture card/video input? Video output would be a big plus. 

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

 

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

No. The ports on your GPU are outputs only.

 

You're going to need a capture card if you want to output video to your PC.

Nope. Capture cards are quite cheap. Or do the freeway people show on YouTube. Not sure if it’s possible with a console or not though.
