My computer's video signal just died after I started ELITE DANGEROUS (A GAME).

i have been using it for 4hrs b4 it went down. All the rgb lights are working until I shut it down. And I could still hear the in-game sound b4 I shut it down. I switched the video signal from DVI to Hdmi, tried plugging it from gpu to MB, and restart the computer multiple times, unplugged the power cord and re-plugging it, tried it on my TV and switching back to my gaming monitor, but it still ends up with (no video signal).

I notice that my motherboard error light showed white color and I checked, it was caused by (VGA CARD), according to my MB user manual. When I was starting the computer, I saw the fans was spinning initially, then one fan stopped, and (I think) after it booted into the windows, all the fans stopped.

Could it be my gpu, or the MB's problem? Cause it was all good until I fired up a game.

Try re-seating the GPU or using it in the other pci-e slot.

But I have already tried plugging hdmi/dvi into the MB instead of gpu, and still got signal tho

If the GPU is still plugged in and detected it only displays out the GPU, plus the 3700X does NOT have integrated graphics so even if the GPU is unplugged you wont get display through the motherboard. Only CPUs with integrated graphics utilize the motherboard for display output.

So if resitting doesn't work, it's very possible that it's my gpu that's fucked up, right?

Yea, I just did that and it works. I don't know why the first PCI-E slot failed. After 2moths purchase too. It sucks ass. Can I get an exchange for the MB like this? I still have a valid warranty, thanks again for helping, just don't know why it happened

Sounding like you have a bad GPU, If this were my build I'd RMA the card.
