Hello. Whoever are willing to answer my problem, thank you. So my pc is currently about 5 months old and it has a small but same time very annoying problem. Lets take an example: when i first played some games on my pc, doom and cs go fps would go high as 300. And i know that human eye can't see difference over 60fps.

The problem is that, month ago or more all games fps would not go over 99 and most of people that would not matter but me it does. It slows down gameplay and lags it drastically. And every time i re-install nvidia driver, problem goes away, but when i come back in next day that same problem is back, no over 99fps and  very annoying lag. I have tried installing older drivers, no help, i have tried tinkering nvidia control panel settings, no help. So i really hope this was enough to someone wiser than me to help me. I will out my specs under this.

Thank you.

Make sure in the NVIDIA control panel that the power management is set to Maximum Performance

EDIT - yes there is a huge, noticeable, seeable difference in 60 FPS vs 120 FPS vs 144 FPS vs 300 FPS.  Give me that 300 FPS for low latency gaming in games that require it.

Display is 144hz and VSync is turned off in every game.

do you have any monitoring software installed like msi afterburner because that could hold the card back, and wat brand is your card. You can get software from your brands website for your card, than you should be able to change the powersetting and more
