Linux replacment for WIN10

Greetings:

 

I was wondering if anyone here knew a Linux disrto I can use to easily replace Win10 as my dedicated HTPC. My only "need" is the ability to easily set it to use ALSA as audio as I pass-through all audio to my AVR. I also need a normal build as it needs to serve as a normal PC also, not just a kodi distro lol,

As far as i know most linux distros and users pride themselves on NOT copying windows which may explain the lack of adoption to the OS in terms of familiarizing new people with the platform change..... although that is also something linux distro and users do not favor which is new users that want a plug and play experience something familiar can deliver.

The only one I know of off hand is Zorin , after that kinda a free for all in terms of similarities

Zorin tends to mimic both Windows XP and 7 layout and style.  If you wanna try something a little different, try Kubuntu.

 

Though I suggest looking up audio passthrough since I don't have experience with that one
