So this is my very first build, and I am kinda nervous and excited with all of this. But, there somethings im being paranoid. One is my games, mainly Fallout 4, I've been having trouble having a CPU and GPU combo that can play FO4 in 60-100 FPS on Ultra settings. I've been using this site game system requirements.com for a ballpark estimate of FPS for this game, and it seems that with my CPU and GPU combo won't hit my target FPS in Ultra settings, and I couldn't find a video that show the combo on FO4 and not FO76. I get they basically they are same game, but with these newer hardware, you would think they can run better than the CPU and GPU that came out during their release window. Hell FO76 can perform a bit better than FO4 with this combo, I don't get it. So I do need help with this to ease my mind a bit on this., does this site is giving an accurate results?Link to this site and to FO4 FPS chart will be on the bottom of this. If anyone with a R5 3600 and RX 5700 with FO4 install run tests to see how close of FPS you can get. Plus I have other games I'm planning to play as well and they all don't have this problem, FO4 is the only one that's giving me a headache. Have a great day everyone.

Useless, just look up real benchmarks using Ryzen 5 and Vega 56/RX 5700 or something.

Your CPU isn't going to have any trouble running AAA games above 100 fps, and at 1440p high settings on your GPU

Did you buy anything yet because there are better options for monitors, and you need an MSI B450 board with USB bios flashing to use Ryzen 3000

I fixed the entire build anyways. You for sure want a GPU with a better cooler

just add a 2TB hard drive at some point The Q300L/Q500L are fine if you're only using air cooling.

Does this help?

https://www.gamersnexus.net/game-bench/2177-fallout-4-pc-video-card-fps-benchmark-all-resolutions

Your resolution on the monitor you are planning to buy is halfway between 1080p and 1440p. These are old benchmarks. The 980ti is doing 78fps average at 1440p Ultra. A 980ti is equal to a 1660ti. An RX 5700 is on the same performance as an RTX 2060 Super. It is at LEAST a good 25% faster than a 980ti. That would be equal to 97.5fps average precisely at 1440p Ultra. Add an extra 33% fps (I think? It's something along those lines) to that and you've got the average for 2560 x 1080, so that would be...129.675fps. So basically 130fps.

That's more than you're asking for. I hope that reassures you. Don't worry about the CPU, it will be better than the one used to test the 980ti on the Gamers Nexus page.

@Viper9 Yes, I realized there are more steps to update the bios than I originally thought. Thanks.

@Streetguru I do appreciate the build you propose, but unfortunately I already went ahead and bought the motherboard. But I'll make it work, one way or another. I'm sorry for not taking up on the build, but the parts you suggested does help lower my cost. As for the GPU you have a point there, so I'll order that instead. However, I do reject the idea of a 1440p setup, I don't have much care about resolution right now, in the distant future maybe, I'm not sure, but for right now I want performance over quality. Plus the monitor I'm placing isn't the actual monitor, the real one is LG 34GL750-B it has all the same specs but in a cheaper price (not as cheap price as your suggestion, sorry).

@MeatFeastMan This is perfect, it's good you break it down for me, cuz I'm just so confuse with these GPUs . I know that newer hardware suppose to be better than their previous version, but to see increase in between hardware rest my worries a lot more. Now with Streetguru's better GPU suggestion  I won't need to worry about hesitating to buy a gpu.

It doesn't make any sense to buy a 21:9 1080p monitor when 1440p versions are at the same price, the RX 5700 isn't going to have any trouble at 1440p. Or if you just want a 16:9 1080p 144hz display they're only $250 max

You just need to borrow a CPU from someone, or some local PC shop, or use one of AMD's free boot kits on their website.

The monitor isn't blurry though. I have the 34UM69G, the smaller brother of the 79G...no pixelated screens in sight!

It may be pixelated if you're coming from 4k back down to 2560 x 1080, but as someone coming up..I see nothing of the sort. It's perfectly fine for me and a great choice for those trying to get into entry level ultrawide monitors.

It’s up to u.

i tried a 1080p ultrawide and it was just too blurry for me so ended up with a 3440 x 1440 panel.
