5700 XT Nitro+ problems

Hi I bought the RX 5700 XT Nitro+, made a clean drivers installation (the newest ones), and when I turn on FreeSync in my Radeon settings, my monitor refresh ratio changes rapidly making any game unplayable (I have the 2K 144Hz monitor, the problem exists only in games). When I turn off the FreeSync the refresh rate is stable 144 Hz and I can normally play. Any suggestions what to do here? It is pissing me off hard.
