Hi,

So this is my setup : I have 1 computer that is connected to 2 monitors and my TV.

Monitor 1 : 2560 x 1440 (main one)

Monitor 2 : 1920 x 1080

TV : 1920 x 1080

What I want to do is :

  • I might want to be on the 2 monitors for a bit for gaming and then by the touch of a button (HDMI switch) close the 2 monitors and connect to my TV.

My current setup :

  • 1 HDMI cable connects my GPU to the HDMI Switcher
  • 2 HDMI cable come out of the Switcher : 1 goes to my Monitor #1 and the other goes to my TV
  • My monitor #2 is connect via VGA.

The problem :

When ever I press the switch form the monitor to the TV, I don't get a signal and I get he message MODE NOT SUPPORTED on my TV.

So I there a way for me to use the switch to go from my 2 monitors to my TV? I want the monitor #1 to stay at 2560x1400.

If you find a better way to do this without the switch please tell me.
