Project Surface Pro to Beamer in School

Hey there!

 

My question may not the the wisest but i got a question concerning projecting my Surface Pro 6 to the Beamer in my school (I am a teacher there) .

It would be easy normally but each room has a desktop PC connected to internal servers where our school documents are saved and we only have ethernet access.

 

So I need access to the desktop normally as well as my Surface Pro as I would need it with OneNote and Drawboard. Is there a way to easily connect it and being able to use the Desktop if needed and project the Surface Pro Screen on the Beamer?

 

Sadly the Remote for our Beamers are quite shit and only have an On and Off button. The Beamer automatically streams the Desktop Screen.

 

I hope I explained it  somehow understandable^^
