Hello guys , so i have been benchmarking my GPU because of poor gaming performance , no matter what i do my games run very poorly with a i7 8700 k and gtx 1080 8gb

my fps is very unstable , frametimes too , i dont know what else to do , in games i get really extreme screen tearing even with vsync / gsync  i cant play at 144 fps caped because it tears like crazy if i let the fps unlimited the tearing goes aways but the gameplay feels laggy like ghosting , the only way it gets a bit playable is with gsync and Riva tuner with fps caped at 140 and since my fps is unstable it drops down very low causing stuttering , my CPU is allways working harder than my GPU , GPU never goes above 30% when gaming even with everything at max , i have been playing CSGO because i left other games i used to play because they were unplayable and came back to cs since its a old game expecting it would run well but no.... still the same

so i have been benchmarking to see if i can see what the cause of this is , when i benchmark i get better fps it drops a bit but not like when i game + i have no screen tearing at all when benchmarking , ill post my graphs from afterburner to see if anyone notices something wrong because i dont really understand much about this stuff ,

could it be my psu not having enough power to let the GPU work?  because when benchmarking my power drops alot, then why does it go full load when benchmarking and when playing not?  + i get really loud coil whining when above 200 fps , i tires switching PCI slots and gets worse it starts at 144 fps  , im lost dont know what else to do , i spent so much money on this pc hoping it would run games that do not require alot but not , my 2014 machine ran csgo better than the current one , how can this be?

My setup :

CPU: i7 8700 k at 4.5 ghz

GPU: GTX 1080 ARMOR 8gb

MB: ASUS PrimeZ 370 p

RAM: 2 x 8 gb Ripjaws at 2400 mhz

PSU: 630 w berlin 80 +

DISPLAY : MSI Optix Mag27c

oh i see , but thats not the case everything  is showing up in device manager , but it is weird why this is hapenning every game i play it performs really bad , tried backrolling drivers , windows version ,using vsync/gsync , reseated the card and nothing helped , also checked to see if a new GPU Bios was available and i have the latest one so i dont really know what could be the problem , i see people with the same build as mine with constant fps no tearing , but mine performs really poorly , im gonna try to buy a new PSU and see if it gets better i  dont know what else to do :/

PS: also i noticed that when playing with my game installed on the SSD the usage is allways at 0 % and the HDD doesnt go up by much either is this normal ? both drives paging files are at system managed

If your game is installed on SSD, no it's not normal. Maybe your cpu and gpu don't get the data they need and that's the reason for the tearing

yeah is weird my ssd doesnt move at all i even installed steam on it along with the game but still it seems that my hdd is doing all the work when playing despite the game beeing on the ssd :/
