Strange AV Software gitch?

So I tried to open a link for some school stuff and I was greeted by a great big firewall from both my browser and my AV. I looked it up and found a bunch of info about an AV glitch or something so I was wondering if anyone here can help. Please respond as quickly as you can I have an assignment riding on this! I attached a photo to this of the error, the browser said the same thing.

If it's for school and you know for sure it's safe, just whitelist the URL. Also, good choice using Avast. I sport the Internet Protection version myself

Well, oddly enough I can't find the link anymore and apparently I didn't need to use it anyway? It's all very strange. Thanks for the help! I'm still curious about the problem though and I'd love to see it get a solve!
