Used Oculus or Vive, whichever is cheaper for you locally.

Somehow I doubt you'll have a good time with those specs, though I may be wrong.

Well when i mean cheap, i mean the cheapest you can get but not to the point where its unsafe, also it would be light/ well optimised vr games like superhot or mc vr. Plus if its super cheap it will prob have a low res anyway

The setup should do just fine for lighter titles. A GPU upgrade would be nice, but is not necessary to get OP's feet wet. The GPU meets Oculus and HTC's minimum specs and the CPU well exceeds it.

The cheapest would probably be a Lenovo Explorer, which you can usually pick up for around $200 with the headset and motion controllers (it's internally tracked so external sensors are not necessary.) Alternatively, complete sets of the CV1 Rift or HTC Vive go for around $300-$320 used (and the Samsung Odyssey goes for about $300 new, $200-$250 used), and that's way too close to the $399 Rift S to be worthwhile in my opinion.
