Am having trouble with me Dell g3 laptop. Since i got it i realized that the CPU was always really hot so about 2 months after getting it i used throttle stop to fix the issue and it helped so much, my temps dropped by about 15 degrees C on the CPU. I have it for about 9 months now and everything was fine but i couple days ago i turned on intels extreme utility unit to experiment with my CPU. Since i turned up the voltage from 45W to 45.25W it started to act extremely weird, even after i put it back to 45W. Before anything the CPU clock speed would not go over 3011Mhz and now its going from 800mhz up to 3.9Gh and although this seems better because its a higher speed, it has only slowed down some of my games. For example on Rainbow Six Siege when i played before this problem i would average around 85-90FPS and after this issue am getting around 65FPS which is a massive drop in FPS.This is on the the Dell G3 with a i7 8750h, a gtx 1050 ti 4GB, 8GB of RAM and a a 128GB SSD. It might be because the GPU is bottle necking the CPU but i've never had this issue in the 9 months that i played. I've also been looking for a fix for about 5 days now and i haven't found anyone talk about this problem so this is my only hope. someone please help, i will provide any info needed.

just uninstall XTU and stick with Throttlestop. You can also increase power limit with TS anyway
