Hey! hoping I can get some help as I bought my girl 5 or so years ago she has been great but looking at doing some upgrades either fast or slow. Below is currently what I have and I am looking for advice/information to update it to play upcoming games and to perform better with PUBG and Ark in Higher settings. I am guessing new Graphics card and maybe CPU.. but I don't know much about differences. Looking at spending as close to $1000 if its even worth it upgrading can go a little higher if needed

You got it right! Yes, the GPU would be first, 1660 seems to be a nice option, still reliable without breaking the bank but with the money you have I would consider getting the 2080...

Sure! With pleasure and when changing the CPU, do it with a CPU of the eighth generation onwards because they are all 4 or more cores except a couple options for laptop.
