Windows key?

So, another problem has arisen. I reinstalled xfce in tty4 terminal, to fix the "Failed to start session", and it worked. But now, when I press the windows key, nothing pops up. What do I do?

 

Edit: Volume keys don't work either :/

I fixed and personalized everything to  my liking now, so it's alright
