GPU just stopped working

I recently got a used motherboard on eBay, I put my CPU and GPU in and everything worked fine. I turned off I computer, then once I turned my computer back on the fans of my GPU were not spinning and there was no video on my monitor. I plugged my HDMI cord to my motherboards HDMI port and there was video. When I checked device mangier my GPU didn't show up. There were no signs of my GPU dying while I played games. I was wondering if it was my GPU or my Motherboard that was broken.
