Radeon Image Sharpening Questions

Now that Radeon Image Sharpening has come to Polaris, I have a lot of questions!

 

I have enabled it across both of my monitors, but I am curious as to how it technically "activates".

 

Would this be something useful for when I want to leverage VSR?

 

Is this better for games where I may want to lower my native resolution to get those higher frames?

 

Is it good for a mixture of both?

 

I am sure there are plenty of us out there that would love to learn more!
