Need help! Upgrading Memory and Storage

• I have an HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx and it states my max ram capacity is 16gb, but 4gb of is not upgradeable. My question is how can I just shove a 16gb in the upgradeable slot?

Erm, PDF page 44 / HP manual page 36 shows both memory slots are upgradeable, and Crucial.com's memory selector shows you can buy a 2x 8GB stick upgrade kit too. Have you actually verified if your existing RAM is indeed non-upgradable?

I read that 4gb of it was not able to be upgraded, but i am going to open it up. I am so new to this, thanks for the links man, i appreciate it!
