Crossfire Help!!

I'm currently building a budget buid consisting of Ryzen 3 APU. In future tho I am looking forward to buy RX570. I was thinking, is it possible to ccrossfire Vega 8 with RX570?

The APU must be put to some use afterall...

Not possible. Crossfire does not work with GPUs that are so vastly different. It's also fairly underwhelming in and of itself, so crossfire in general shouldn't be your priority.

Interesting, i remember that in 2015 or so it worked, you could crossfire the APU with the d-gpu, but yes they had to be in the same series, and vega=/=polaris.

Also as you said, the performance gains were awful, you were better running the gpu by itself.

It was a very specific apu, an A series that had the same graphics chip as the GPU in question (very low end GPU)

 

If there was a Vega 8 GPU it would probably be able to crossfire with the 2200G

ohk I was just asking out of curiosity. I`ll be better off running only gpu then ^-^
