HELP, Audio is not working...

Hi Everyone, 

After testing a friends graphics card on my pc for him my audio died. None of my aux ports work, my computer can tell that they are connected but no sound comes out (nor the front panel aux ports). I ausumed it was something to do with the drivers and did a heap. I ended up resorting to the 'reset your pc' thing in windows. I reset my pc and guess what, my audio doesnt work still!!! do i need to format my drive and start completely over or is there another solution to this. Thankyou everyone!

Have you selected the correct audio source?

After you have selected the correct source, click on the volume bar. That should give you a ding sound.

 

If you get the ding, you have just got your audio output set to the wrong device.
