My tecknet gm299 mouse comes with an aim button that presumably lowers the dpi, but in the driver settings, there is no way to lower it completely. I can take steps down but I can't go straight to the lowest dpi and go back to the one I was using. Can anyone help create a jank dpi switch? I have some ideas but I don't have the technical abilities to do them

1) set up a macro to switch the dpi to low and back. My razer driver (synapse 3) does macros and the mouse driver claims to (though I've never tried) but neither recording recognizes the extra mouse buttons for switching dpi, otherwise I would have it click 4 times down and then 4 times up every time the button is pushed.

2) run a command that manually switches the dpi to a fixed number, then switches back upon release. I have poked around but I can't find a command to do this through windows and I couldn't find it in the driver files

3) finding a generic gaming driver that does have these features and are compatible. Are there any open-source drivers like this for windows? Seems like it is an outside use case so it makes sense why nobody has taken the time.

Any other thoughts would be most welcome!
