Posted September 4, 2019 Hi people I am having another strange issue with a 1600x It is stable (currently testing but good for hours so far) at 3.9ghz 1.325V all core, will probably go lower but I am comfortable at this voltage (under load only uses 1.28V VID apparently, i think thats voltage droop) but even at 1.4V 4.0ghz crashes as soon as I load a stress test. Temps are fine at 70-73 (according to ryzen master and hw monitor) deg C, on a dark rock pro 3 Is 1.4 a to high voltage for 4ghz? i droped to 1.385 and same issue so i assumed dont like the 4.0ghz just wondering if i am going about this all right oh and I use the override voltage not offset as easier. Ideas welcome thanks ram is at 2933mhz cl 16 just thought to add incase that matters Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1101422-ryzen-1600x-overclocking/ Share on other sites
 Your not mentioning if your system crashes. What is your question ? Posted September 5, 2019 Author I was following guides on youtube on how to do this (and to get an idea of voltages necessary) they didnt adjust llc that I saw, what sort of a value should I look at for it? its on auto probably at the moment Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1101422-ryzen-1600x-overclocking/#findComment-12867240 Share on other sites
 Posted September 5, 2019 Author Oh and for the question, sorry i thought it was implied by the low ish clock speed for an x model, i want to try for higher but safely. looking for a good 24/7 voltage n stuff but hoped for 4.0/ 4.1 ghz if i am doing something wrong Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1101422-ryzen-1600x-overclocking/#findComment-12867992 Share on other sites
