Hey guys! I just installed PiHole on a ubuntu server VM on my HTPC. I am unable to get to the interface even after setting the IP to my router. Can you please help? Thanks

Is the VM set to NAT or bridge? If you're using something like QEMU/KVM & Virt-manager by default it sets the NIC to traverse NAT.

How would you change what the VM is set to in oracle vm virtualbox?

Yep. By default Oracle VM Virtual Box uses NAT. You won't be able to talk to it until you bridge the VM to a physical interface.

I don't know how much the Linux Oracle GUI varies from the Windows Oracle GUI but trying to do this off the top of my head you need to right-click on your VM -> Options -> Find the network options -> Change NAT to Bridge (may have to select the NIC you want to bridge) -> Apply(if applicable)

I'd have to install it to give you exact instructions but that's an educated guess as to what you're looking for.
