Hello! I want to show my mod for 8800gt.

I used some old heat sink from some gpu and add intel stock cooler top of it.

How well does it fit into the PCIe slot with that zip tie in the way?

with stock cooler temperatures are too high and cooler was noicy. I have few problems with heat, but i post results here then.

on my mobo that plastic lock is broken so that's why it fits

Now i have better cooling for memory and i'll try it soon.

ZIPTIES!!!!!!!!!  how much cooler does it run? i assume the card was cooled passively before right?

that other cooler is not in use atm.

BTW i have problems with pcie connector. I think there is some kinda short circuit.

Okay i think this card is dead I think my memory chips made that short circuit cause i forgot these little heat sinks and they overheated and computer crashed

Plz tell me if there is something to do with this card

You could try baking it... but if you shorted it, then it's done..  Well done....  pun intended... Sorry, that was bad.
