Help please

I am going to be building a desktop soon and in need of some advice. I have home WiFi but it is literally garbage, so recently I have resorted to using my phone hotspot for gaming on my laptop and xbox, because it is much faster and better ping. So I was wondering should I look for a motherboard with WiFi built in, but I’ve heard that this isn’t always very fast or should I go with like a PCI WiFi adapter card, or what would you guys recommend I do?

A motherboard with WiFi built in should work fine with phone hotspot

Consider running an ethernet cable, or if not possible, try one of those wifi boosters so you don't use up your mobile data.

 

For the wifi on the computer, either built in motherboard wifi or a wifi pci card both will work equally as well, go for whichever one is cheaper.

Sounds good thank you guys anyone recommend a certain PCI WiFi card in particular? Im trying to build an all white pc build so it’s hard to find a board that’s all white that checks all the boxes
