I left my PC for a couple of hours, I have it set to turn off screen only but not sleep. Yet no folding happened? zero progress. Every time I try to fold on idle, nothing happens. What's up with that?

Well as long as you didn't put computer to sleep there is no reason why Folding wouldn't work.  Was it ever working good ?

It only works when it’s not on idle. I am not sure why it won’t work when idle. Any ideas?

Are you shutting the monitor off via the power options setting?  I had some issues where this wouldn't be detected by the F@H client as an idle condition and wouldn't start the folding slot.  It didn't happen every time, but I was never really able to figure out why it didn't always work correctly.  Using a blank screen saver instead of shutting off the monitors via power options fixed it but doesn't do the same thing as monitor off (obviously).

In the end I just left the folding on all the time and manually paused whenever gaming.  Doesn't really affect the rest of the system too negatively for general usage like web browsing and/or Youtube videos.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

That's what I decided to do, I manually pause and fold. Works for me. For "causal" people that fold on their laptops...etc and don't want to be bothered folding manually, they should really fix this.
