I have 2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz 2x16gb CL16, when reading on thiaphoon burner I seemed to have got quite lucky with Samsung B die memory. So far I have managed to get it 3600MHz at primary timings CL16-19-18-18-36 but cannot go any further without not booting, resulting in a CMOS reset and lost settings. I am running the modules at 1.41v as they seem more stable then at a the higher 1.45v often suggested, I would like to get the timings down to 16-18-18-36 but cannot get it any further, I have used the DRAM calculator but the 3600MHz b die settings are not stable on my kit even if set on safe does anyone have any suggestion to what I could do to achieve 16-18-18-36? I am running the Ryzen 9 3900x on the Asus Crosshair Hero VIII (wifi) mobo if that makes a difference. I tried CL 17-18-18-18-36 but it does not take for some reason.

The reason why your b-die isn't timing well is because its low binned b die, and with the consistency of b die, don't expect much from it. I would doubt if you can improve the timings at all but getting higher frequency is most likely achievable, to get higher frequency try; 2:1 uclk ratio, 1800mhz fclk, 21-21-21-42 timings, cmd 2T if not already, that's all i could really recommend, don't be surprised if you can't run 3600+ or better timings, you got b die in a 3600 cl16 kit for a reason, but its still way better then hynix.

I always thought b die was the best for ryzen
