I'm having an issue where the computer will wake itself from sleep without any input from a user. This behavior started 2 days ago. powercfg -lastwake is showing that the instance path is: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1453&SUBSYS_14531022%REV_00\3&11583659&0&0B  827798491_CMDlastwake.JPG.ae1b5922d56294547e62c23b1667872d.JPG
This is a PCI Express Root Port. That instance path and 4 others were all installed on my system on the same day at the exact same time just roughly around the time I would have been putting it to sleep to leave for a few hours. The issue started about a week after the specified install date. This is one of the more prevalent issues I've been having since the main bios randomly corrupted about 3 weeks ago on a restart. I was on bios rev f4g (Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi Rev 1.0) when the corruption happened, restored the bios  and then updated to f31. Drive letters are also being misplaced in task manager, C used to be drive 0 and D was drive 1, but now they are reversed. I have made no changes to the boot order or drive list within the bios.  Is this something that would be being affected by the recent bios corruption or is this an OS level problem and how would I be able to fix it? I've looked at every forum i can find, including this one from the LTT forum, but no one seems to have a definitive answer on what to do.

The Win10 is version 1803 build 17134.950. Windows did update prior to the issue but there is a conflict in what is installed in the Windows update log for what i can uninstall and the update history.

If there is any more info I can offer let me know.

Thanks guys for any help you can offer.

Hm, sadly I too have the same issue, and it is driving me crazy. No one seems to care or know what to do or what causes it and thus we are stuck. As far as I know, PCI Express Root Port could actually be anything. I tried to unplug every device I could from my computer and I didnt find a solution. Even unplugging the graphics card and putting it to sleep with teamviewer, the computer would still wake up randomly after a while. The only thing left for me to try and unplug would be a Pcie NVMe SSD which happens to be my boot drive. Which may as well be throwing the computer out the window to see if it still wakes up from sleep.

My system is a Ryzen 7 1700 on an AsRock AB350 Pro4 (Windows recently updated from 1803 to 1903 and issue persists). Sad to hear that in the newer motherboards and from other vendors it still can happen. I even contemplated getting a new motherboard, but thankfully that wouldnt solve it either, it seems. Also updating my BIOS again and risk breaking other things wouldnt necessarily help I suppose. Therefore I am thinking of writing to AMD directly about this.

If it were a software issue, which in light of the facts is possible, a Windows fresh install might be another thing to try, However, It is not the first time that I do one, and to my memory this issue has been sooner or later haunting me again. There should be a way to accurately target this issue if it were actually software caused.

I really hope we can find a solution to this problem. It's very sad to be in such situation.
