So, I am not a full on gamer or anything, nor am I a person that does much with PC software, as I'm more of a hardware guy myself......

But, I recently installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on an old laptop that I own, seeing if I could make it semi usable again, which it did.  At one point while using my Logitech M510 on this laptop, the mouse stopped working altogether.  So, doing a little bit of troubleshooting, I replaced the batteries in the mouse, no fix, I tried a different PC, as this isn't my main laptop that I use this mouse with on a daily basis, and still, it didn't work.  The main machine that I use this mouse with is Windows, so I installed some of Logitech's software to try to fix the problem, thinking that the mouse may have became unpaired with  it's USB receiver, although this shouldn't happen, I thought I'd try it.  This didn't work either.  The mouse works, as I was able to pair it to another receiver that I have, but that still takes a mouse away from me (a Logitech M305) which I use on another device.  Windows recognizes the receiver that this mouse came with, but nothing works, driver updates, checked, uninstall the device within windows and reinstall it, checked.  I'm out of options, other than buying a new receiver, and I don't want to do that if I can help it. Any suggestions, fixes or anything would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!!!
