Suggestions with cpu

Ive been trying to complete a pc build for a while now and I have managed to source a gtx 1050ti from my friend a motherboard with a lga 1151 socket and I still need a cpu I have a £60 budget and looking at used parts.

Did you get the motherboard from your friend too? And you already have the rest of the parts?

ASUS H110M-K H11 and I do have the rest of the parts.

The only CPU you can get for that much would be a lowly G4560 or something, that'll only have 2 cores and 4 threads, anything higher than that is pretty expensive most likely, especially the i5s and i7s.

 

I'd highly suggest returning/selling the motherboard, and looking on ebay and your local used market, for a used Ryzen 5 1600 + B350/B450 board, that way you get a 6 core CPU + Motherboard for the same price as only an i7 6700/K which is $200+ looks like

Otherwise you're going to want to try to find an i5 6400, and maybe throw a fan over the VRM on that motherboard.I wouldn't settle for a Pentium in any event.
