PSU Extra 4 Pin

Hi, I noticed on some motherboards like x570s and such that there is an extra 4 pin that is sometimes required for more power in case you over clock. However a lot of modular PSUs don't come with that extra 4 pin. Is there a PSU that does or is there a cable that can be purchased to plug in? Thanks!

You only need the 8 pin connector by itself, the extra 4 pin is just for marketing.

A single 8 pin pushes over 350 watts, good luck breaking that on a regular OC.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
