Hey there, I'm running into weird issues with my start up and shut down of windows 8.1,
when shutting down or restarting, windows will shut down, the screen will go blank, but

the PC itself stays powered on for about 5-7 minutes after the shut down occurs, once

shut down, when I go to hit the power button to turn on the machine, there's a small delay

of about 4-6 seconds then the PC will power on.

recent troubleshooting suggested to turn off the hybrid shut down mode, which I've done,

However I'm still running into the issue.

Keep in mind, I'm doubtful it's the PSU as I had the same issue on a CX750M, and continue

to have the same issue with my AX 860i

My pc specs are as follows
Corsair 750D
Corsair AX 860i
16gb of corsair vengeance ram 1600mhz, x2 8gb sticks duel channel

I7 3770k @ 4.8ghz
H100i
EVGA 780 Ti Reference @ 1245 Gpu clock, 1800+ on the memory

The 4-6 second delay is not a big concern. Same thing happens on my M5A88-M regardless of OS. Not sure what the thing on shutdown could mean. Do you have any program that caches to the drives or requires doing after shutdown? RAMDisk is an example.
