I just got my loop setup and I've got a 120, a 280 and a 360mm rad in my 750d and a 380i  I'm running a cpu only loop. I've overclocked my cpu to 4.7ghz @ 1.340 volts, and when running aida64 I get maximum temps of up to 90, and I'd say an average of 80 ish. Is this normal for my loop? I really am starting to regret getting a custom loop, I should've stuck to the h100i, or a h320 would've saved me alot of money :/

you have 720mm rad space for one CPU? and it's 90°C hot? bad cpu mount or not enough water flow.

Or it's just to much voltage for the thermalpaste in your cpu to transfer all the heat to the heat spreader.

Yeah, it's during an artificial load though, im only hitting 60 during playing bf4. Do you think that I should tighten the cpu block further? How tight should it be?

Firstly check how the thermal paste looks after having taken off the block. If the paste is uniform around the core and in a thin layer, then there may be another issue. As far as the block itself goes- just tighten to the point where the block does not move at all if you try to move it by the 4 long screws, don't over tighten.

I'll try that as soon as I have time, thanks alot

does depend on your overclock skills and voltage mode used. but i'd say you still have

a large pocket of air. but first:

what radiators?

what fans?

what fan speeds?

it would help to know what kind of processor your using, if its one that thermal grease between the die and the IHS that's bad, ive heard of people getting 20C drops in temp after delidding bad ones.

theres more to cooling your CPU then rad space.

NF f12s and nf a14, 1500rpm and 1200rpm alphacool xt45s

if your 12v on the fans with those temps, either the app is FUBAR or you have a serious

air bubble.

what kind of temps on stock clock on the CPU (should be 1.2XX vCore)?

720mm and 240mm surfare area on rads perform almost equally on just cpu (1-2c difference at best).

If you have ivy-bridge or haswell those temps are perfectly normal imo and you should not be worried - you are on really high voltage anyways.

If it's a bubble, I would start by trying to increase and decrease your pump speed from MAX to MIN, if that doesn't reveal any air getting through your system, than try to tilt the case around a bit and/or gently knock on the tubs.
