Ryzen 3700x?

I had a part list of a computer I wanted to build a year ago and in that list there's a Ryzen 2700x. Should I spend 130€ more for a 3700x? is it worth it? I'll game heavily on it and also do a lot of Photo and Video Editing

If I were building right now i would definitely go with the 3000 series over 2000.  As long as it fits in your budget.  If you are looking to save some money then go with the 2700x.  It's a good cpu.

The ONLY reason to get a 2700x now is if you are buying used and find one for under $100 USD.

 

But for what you are doing i would definitely go with the 3700x. But if you do a ton of editing i would look into the 3900x. Its beastly and well worth the money if you do a bunch of editing.

the 3900x is way out of my budget sadly, even though I could use its power a lot
