Hello all,  I currently have an MSI RX 470 and i5-6500 running an Oculus Rift and have had it a year now and am happy with performance but curious about upgrades.  I have some money saved and looking at spending around $350-$400CDN a local shop has a Gigabyte Radeon Vega 56 gaming for $369 and a EVGA 1660ti XC Black gaming for $364.  I have been doing reading but there is not tonnes of specific VR data for these cards that I have found and was wondering if anyone had any real world experience that may help with the decision making process?

No real world experience with these cards, but on paper with results from other games, in VR they should easily play all but the most demanding of games.

I have a RX570 and although it seems to run VR acceptably, I'm looking to upgrade in a year or so. Have you considered a RX5700? It looks to be in your price range ($349 US) and I believe performs a bit better than a Vega 56.

Although not as powerful as a Vega 56, a RX590 could also be a viable mid range option for you without breaking the bank.
