Ok so I should just drop the idea then? I just saw the Xonar DG for really cheap so I just thought id see if it was worth it.

Is the Asus Xonar DG a good upgrade from the onboard audio because I want to get the best quality from my 598s without spending a sh*t ton of money.

50-75 for E10, 30-50 for E6, and you shouldn't need a soundcard for a 598

i have the DG and its great for its price plus comes with an amp
