BIOS corrupted and updated

you dont have to do anything, gigabytes dual bios implementation is really good imo. I will suggest you to get the latest bios and update your bios now, as the backup bios is generally really old.

Hello,

The computer didn't boot, restarted with breaks for four to five times. Then UEFI dual BIOS screen, saying BIOS corrupted, getting backup, and it updated. And boots.

Can anyone tell me what happened, and do I have to do something to set another BIOS backup so it's gets fixed by itself like this.

Mainboard model - Gigabyte Z87 HD3.

Can BIOS update be avoided anyhow? I get frequent power loss, and if it happens while updating, bricks! That's why asking.

totally fine, its actually better not to risk in that case.
