Ok so I want to build a new computer so I can start to do little animations and absolutely destroying Minecraft with tons of fps!

BUDGET:

try and stay under 1500 but I don't mind too much if it does

plan:

so I already picked out some parts of pcpp but I'm not too good with computers when it comes to building so don't be surprised if I have screwed up on this list but hey that's why I am here! So yeah I need all thoughts and also what's a good sound card because idk if this mother board has that good of sound or not.

Basically any other cooler than the 212 evo and you're good to go.

50/50 I hate the evo and that there genuinely are better options even in the same price range, bequiet pure rock line, gammax 400, Arctic freezer 34, etc

Good?

i'd recommend a 3700x instead, doesn't perform much worse in gaming but it's cheaper. No need for a 750w PSU, a good 550w unit is enough. get a sabrent rocket instead of the 860 evo.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Sorry but 3700x?

Also isn't 550 cutting it close because it says the system needs like 440

you can much less on the motherboard as compared to the 9700k and still get to overclock. plus no need to get a cooler.

Ok so I just bought everything so I am trusting you that it's going to be good but... I think the power supply is out of stock. Any ideas for an alternative?

Hey so I noticed there wasn't any thermal paste and I was assuming it was the stuff on the CPU heat sink but it looks like I need thermal paste is that true?

The stock cooler will come with it pre-applied.

Thanks so much! Because even in the instruction manual it says to put thermal paste on now this means I don't have to wait a few more days

Also WTH I put on the arm but the second one doesn't reach! I could probably get it to if I pushed Dow the heat sink but that's pressure on the CPU

Thank you!  I built it a few days ago and I have just finished up transferring and downloading everything and it runs smooth, fast, and amazing! Thank you for saving me so much money from the first list!
