URSA mini 4k time code

So I was on a set recently where we shot a film on an ursa mini 4k camera (NOT 4.6 OR PRO) we hooked it up to a tentacle sync but we couldn't tell if it was syncing up or not. the time code when recording did not match the time code shown on the app. I'm not an audio guy at all so i don't really have a clue in this department. does anyone know how to get the time code to work (It ended up not working and we went with the standard slate clap). It would be great if someone knows something i don.t as all the solutions i can find are for newer models of the ursa mini. its worth repeating this is the 4K not the 4.6K and the solutions for the 4.6K did not work. though we didn't spend too much time on it.
