Wait, you've been running a windows install for one year and would like to reinstall? That really isn't necessary.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Ah, I must've explained it badly. I have a computer, I just got a new motherboard and CPU and I've read that I have to reinstall my Windows with the new motherboard and cpu so I don't get errors if I were to just transfer over my SSD with my current windows on it from the compuer I have been using for a year. And if I do have to reinstall Windows I don't know if I have to wipe my SSD in my current Computer before transferring it to the new motherboard and reinstalling windows.

Ah yes that does change things. So yeah, it's ideal that you reinstall Windows fresh, but what laptop do you have? You might be able to get away with not reinstalling. If you do have to reinstall, you have to create a windows Media tool on a USB of 8GB or more

should I just put my SSD in the new computer and try to boot it?

Yep, it might go well.

But if that doesn't work would I be able to reinstall windows or would I have to wipe the SSD and instal windows using a USB

You'd have to wipe and reinstall with that USB.

Also for the drivers you mentioned earlier, you need a graphics driver for your graphics card and motherboard drivers, from the motherboard product page.
