I'm looking for a tiny steam machine and I was wondering if a Intel Nuc or Gigabyte Brix with a Haswell core i3 with 4400 graphics would run games over in home streaming, my intent is not to run games on the barebones pc itself.

Also would a AC 1700 provide a playable experience at 1080p 60hz or should I get a power line system?

No, you need powerline at the least. Normal wired is better.

Know what Brian Boitano would do?

He'd bypass those insanely marked up STEAMing Linux Boxes and just build a cheap form factor PC on his own. One more than capable of streaming, and that delivers the wonderful sense of satisfaction that comes from doing things yourself.

Seriously, you don't need a steam machine to stream.

I've recently been doing research on Steam Machines and how they compare to the PS4 and Xbox One in terms of specs and price. I'm not the best at specs and so wish to know if my analysis (URL provided)is legitimate

You could buy a cheap Cyberpower PC or buy the Specifications you want yourself and build a steam machine yourself. Also remember that Linux based SteamOS has its own advantages and has many features that connect your steam account to your PC
