ok so,

I was watching something on Netflix and my shield rebooted, I know this is a known issue but it doesn't bother me since it usually does it at midnight for me.

anyways, when it was starting up I noticed that the android logo was small... like smaller than usual.

when it finished the entire UI was small:

oh great...

so I ADB ed into the thing and set the density to 610:

oh yay it's partly fixed, a reboot should fix the app icon issues!

it didn't, in fact it reset my density back to 320 and I got the exact same issue again

a Google search came up with nothing and I'm left with this...

it's a god damn 4k screen, I can't read anything!

I set it to 1080 and it does fix it but I watch 4k content regularly both on Netflix (which wasn't affected by this issue) and Plex (which does get affected by this issue)

please help it's a Monday and I am like Garfield when it comes to Monday's...
