i am looking at getting some hdd's for my computer i have a ssd and just need the storage. i am running 6 hdd right now they are all about 320+ 2tb is total. i want to up grade to one or more drives.. and wanted to know what is better 3 1tb drives OR 1 3tb drive i am not going for speed just storage

Get a 3TB drive, it's a lot cheaper.

If you were considering 3x 1tb SSD or 3TB SSD I would consider the 3X 1tb for raid 0. 

But, they're HDD. I would the 3tb HDD.

Just get the solution that's the cheapest.. .in your case it's probably 1 3tb drive.
