Hi there,

I've noticed that the 9750h keeps pulling above 1 volts and pretty much fluctuates up and down.

Is there a way to stabilize the Core voltage to 1 where it doesn't jump up and down, which I think will greatly improved the laptops thermals and also stabilize any applied undervolting?

I mean, my 6900k is also fixed to a steady voltage of 1.25 volts and simply decreases the voltage and clocks down if it's not used but doesn't fluctuate up and down at it's peak voltage.

Can I do this in throttlestop?

Why?

It will only increase powerdraw, and using static voltage would mean a static clockspeed .

Voltage fluctuation does what it does to allow it to boost freely and lower powerdraw during non-use scenarios. Just do a couple of millivolt undervolt and see how it works out.

And if you are worried about temps, then dont be. Laptops are inherently hot.

Well my desktop CPU clocks down too when there is no load but stays steadily at 1.25 volts when it's doing 4 GHz, isn't that possible with a laptop CPU?

Unless its an overclockable sku, then no. The best you can do is most likely undervolting.

Still, there is no benefit to locking voltage on a mobile device.
