Trouble With Fingerprint Reader

So recently I got the Samsung Galaxy A50, and have had trouble with the Fingerprint reader. I don't know if it has to do with being under the screen, but I've been locked out of my phone 4 times today alone, from too many attempts. I have even rescaned my finger a couple of times and it's the same problem. I would like to know if anyone else is having this issue and if I can fix it. Thank you
