Acrobat Reader display bug

Running on an HP Envy x360 Ryzen 5

Using .pdf with Javascript enabled. This particular file is editable. Works fine my on desktop but this is how it is displayed on my laptop. I added the file and a picture of the graphical bug I am seeing.

Anyone have any ideas?

What version of Adobe Reader (Help -> About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC) are you using?

 

I tested it in Chrome 75 (64-bit) and Adobe Reader DC 2019.012.20035 and it worked in both.

 

EDIT: Displayed in both. Javascript only worked in Reader DC.

I'm using the same version and it worked for me. Tried Foxit Reader as well and no issues. Try reinstalling Adobe Reader.

I think I found a Solution!

1. Open File location 
2. Find .exe (AcroRd32.exe)

3. Right Click Properties > Compatibility tab

4. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for [Select Windows 7]

5. Check "Run this program as an administrator

6. Select "Change high DPI settings" button

7. High DPI scaling override - Check "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling preformed by [Select Application]

 

Hopefully that helps anyone who would have a similar issue. Very relieved.

wow! thanks, it still worked for me, I thought I'll never find the solution! Thank you very much ... I still have a Ryzen 5 but for desktop PC, it is a 5 3400g
