Can’t install windows 10

Gauzl

I’m trying in install windows 10 on my new PC with a USB that came with my purchase of windows 10, I’m booting the computer through it, after selecting “Windows setup (64-bit)” it fails to load every time and give some this error “Windows failed to start. A recent hardware change or software change might be the cause” and carries on sayigpng insert a disk or contact system administrator.

this is a brand new computer and the only old parts are the SSD’s which I have already formatted.

The following things can cause this issue:

- The installer itelf is damaged / has a faulty code

- A lose / damaged SATA cable

Try reconnecting the SSD or try it with an other cable, if it still fails download windows from microsoft and make a bootable pendrive with rufus.

system out println("Please don't drop it Linus!");

Setup:

Thinkpad W530 😕

Usually this is caused by a corrupted file within the installer. I would wipe the USB and use Microsoft's Media Creation Tool to create a new bootable usb, it's free and easy. Run the media creation tool as administrator to avoid crashes.

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 / Ryzen 5 4600H / GeForce GTX 1050 / 8 GB @ 3200MHz

I have tested both SSD’s and there are no issues with them and I tested the USB on another computer and it worked fine.

to explain exactly what’s happening on my screen after I select windows 10 64bit it then goes into a loading screen where it shows the motherboard logo and a dotted circle to show progress, it freezes here every time.

Do you have UEFI enabled in your bios?
