Thermal paste reapplications

Hello!

I just recently built a new pc. I was wondering when I should replace the thermal paste for my computer. i use it for about (5 hours on weekends and 3 hours on weekdays) I know this isn’t the gpu section but how often should i replace that too?

Once you notice the temps becoming a problem. Depending on the paste it could be a really long time.

I have i7-9700k with noctua thermal paste and cooler 

and gpu is rtx 2080 founders edition

That should last a good and long time without thinking. Hell, depending on how often you buy a new pc you might be buying a new pc before that thing “needs” new thermal paste. (Note the difference between need and could see a few degrees better temps with new paste)

I replace it once in every year. I use Arctic MX-4 and it never let me down.
