Razer Blade 15

I want to get a Razer blade 15. Because it looks nice. The build quality seems nice. I don't play games often, but I would like to have a good performance machine. My budget is $1000 to $2000. Do you recommend getting base model with gtx 1060 or rtx 2060. Also, do you recommend renewed products?I really like razer

There are much, much better laptops than that for cheaper. I'm not very knowledgable about gaming laptops, but if you don't need a ton of GPU power a Thinkpad is a great investment.

I like Thinkpad, but I love the design of razer blade.

Razer isnt good tbh, the thermal solution was bad. the 2019 is better but decent and not the best. and the build well.............

 

if you want powerful machine i always go with the Y540 Y740 or Asus ROG

Buying a bad product because you like the aesthetic is a terrible idea. Hell, buying a Razer laptop is a terrible idea, regardless of if you like the aesthetic or not.

 

 

Get a good machine, not a shit one that looks good.

Great because of design. display. but the cooling decent. we arent prepared for thin gaming yet. and there plenty of other you should check it out

Since I don't play games a lot, I don't think I need the best cooling. I would rather get thin laptop that performes decent

GTX if you want to limit your budget. i meant i personally don't use RTX because the purpose of RTX its to utilize the ray-tracing technology. and its really take a huge toll on everything.

Is gtx 1060 good for most games? Such as fortnite apex, pubg, battlefield?

fornite is good. 

the rest is decent. especially battlefield that hungry power.

but your 1060 is 1060 MAX-Q which is better and cooler compare to standard MObile 1060.

- Fortnite Ultra setting around 70Fps

- Apex Legend 60fps but might drop

-PUB G ultra setting 50-60 ish

-BF5 probably high 60fps
